After a break for lunch, depart once again for a visit to the Dolmabahce Palace, Bosphorus Bridge and Camlica Hill and Shopping possibility Bedesten.

Spice Bazaar: This covered market is an attractive L-shaped building to the southwest of the Yeni Cami. Its English name survives from the time when the market specialized in the sale of spices and herbs, as well as medicinal plants and drugs.
Boat Cruise on Bosphorus: The Bosphorus - the waterway between two continents - is beautiful at any time, day or night in any season. On the way to the Black Sea, you can see the finest and richest examples of the Ottoman houses and palaces on the shores.
Rumeli Fortress: In 1452, Mehmet II prepared to besiege Constantinople by constructing a fortress at Rumeli Hisari. It took less than four months to build, thanks to 3000 laborers and master masons assigned to the task. Its crenellated walls and round towers are popular with photgraphers and what you see from the top of the walls is one of the nicest view of the Bosphorus.
Lunch
Dolmabache and Asia Tour(13:30 to 17:00)

Between 1611-1614, this bay had been filled in and a timber building with a large garden called "the Besiktas Palace" had been built with the order of Sultan Ahmet I. The land of the Besiktas Palace, which had become completely useless due to a fire, was chosen as the site of the new palace by Sultan Abdulmecit I, since it was by the sea side and close to the city center.
Bosphorus Bridge: Unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) within few minutes. The Ataturk Bridge carries 200.000 vehicles and 600.000 people a day. It is the 4th longest suspension bridges in the Europe and 7th in the world.

»TURKISH BELLY DANCE AND NIGHT SHOW WITH DINNER up

Turkish Night in Istanbul...
We hope you will follow our recommendations in this issue so you can get the most out of Istanbul!
Most tourists who come to Turkey want to see "Oriental Dancing" (Belly - Dancing), eat Turkish food and drink Raki. We suggest that if you do drink Raki then the most appropriate dishes to accompany it are white cheese, melon, stuffed cabbage leaves with olive oil, Albanian liver and red mullet stew with vinegar and walnut based sauce.
You can find dishes in most restaurants, night clubs or tavernas. However be warnedly Raki is very strong and should be drink with water, very slowly.

Galata Tower
The Turkish night show here features a good mix of entertainment, traditional folk music and belly dancing. It is located in the famous Galata tower where you possibly may have a table with a view of the Golden Horn or the Bosphorus and old Istanbul. Seating is limited here and more intimate.
Price per person: 70 EURO. Transfer not included.

Orient House
Orient House Restaurant features a class act in traditional surroundings, as if you are inside a Turkish house. In an Oriental atmosphere, enjoy the "Kanun", a typical Turkish musical instrument; discover the delights of a typical "Fasil" orchestra; and then a program extravaganza to experience the flavor of words and customs of our folklore and belly dancing.
Price per person: 80 EURO per person. Transfer included.

Sultana`s
The Ottoman Palace life, customs and traditions in the Harem are explained and presented to you professionally on stage. Oriental belly dance and folklore dance performances accompanied by Turkish music creating a visual feast will captivate you. Sultana's has a limited capacity and intimate atmosphere.
Price per person: 50 USD per person/ 60 EURO deluxe menu. Transfer included

Turkish Nights offer a full meal with various courses and usually a choice of the main course with limited alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks (usually two drinks, or small bottle of wine or local spirits).

»DINNER IN A ROMANTIC ATMOSPHORE up

Kiz Kulesi Restaurants
Kiz Kulesi was built on the rocks of the Asian shore at the mouth of the Bosphorus Strait by the Greek commander Alkibiades in 419 B.C. to oversee enemies coming from the Black Sea. Hundreds of ships and ferries sail past the Maiden's Tower which for centuries has illuminated the darkness, giving sailors a landmark by which to navigate. Today, Kiz Kulesi is a romantic restaurant which was opened to the public just a few years ago, boasting glorious 360º views of Istanbul. A trip to Istanbul would not be complete without dining at this magical tower.
History of the Tower
This romantic landmark is full of stories of romance and intrigue. The oldest story surrounds a young man named Leander who was drowned while swimming to reach to his lover Hera, a priestess who lived in the tower. Upon learning the fate of Leander, Hera threw herself into the water and so the two lovers were united at last in death. Today, the tower is know to many as Leander's Tower or the Maiden's Tower because of this next story. According to this story, an emperor was told by a fortune teller that his daughter would perish by a snake bite. So, he put his beautiful daughter in the tower for security, but as fate would have it, a snake arrived in a basket of fruit and caused her tragic end. Many myths and legends bear a similar resemblance to others, the location changing while the story remain the same.
Now let us turn from legend to fact. The Byzantine emperor Manuel Comnene (1143-1180) had two towers built, one on the shore where Topkapi Palace was later constructed, and the other where the Maiden's Tower stands today. Chains were drawn across the mouth of the strait between these two towers when Istanbul was attacked by enemy fleets. Sultan Mehmet II conquered Istanbul in 1453 and used these chains to enforce tax collection of ships passing from the Black Sea to Europe. There have been various changes over the centuries as a result of repairs and fires, and Kiz Kulsei was extensively renovated during the reign of Mahmud II when it took the form we see today.
Services
Open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 8pm to 12am. Closed Mondays. All major credit cards are accepted at Kiz Kulesi. Advance reservations for individuals are required - we suggest reserving one month in advance. Groups, Special Events and Parties are welcome, please inform us reserving a table for you!

Kiz Kulesi is in the middle of the Bosphorus Strait, thus, you must take a ferry boat. On the Asian Side there are continuous boats from Salacak which is the nearest shore to the Kiz Kulesi. Other ferries operate as follows:
Ortakoy is a bay on the European side just below the Bosphorus Bridge.
